Telemundo Deportes Talent Cover Live from Denver, England and Mexico

MIAMI, FLA. – April 15, 2026 – Telemundo delivers a full weekend of must-watch sports, featuring a dynamic lineup of Premier League matchups, Liga MX action, and Sunday Night Baseball across Telemundo, Universo, Telexitos, and Peacock, highlighted by marquee clashes from England’s topflight as the title race intensifies and a primetime showdown in Mexican fútbol with the Liguilla fast approaching.

The action kicks off on Friday, April 17 with the women’s national soccer team challenging Japan in an international friendly from Denver. Telemundo Deportes’ Isabella Echeverri will be on-site reporting pitch side, while Carlota Vizmanos hosts coverage from Telemundo Center in Miami alongside match commentators Copán Álvarez and Omar Zerón, who will call the action.

On Saturday, April 18, the day begins with Premier League Extra at 7:00 a.m. ET on Universo, hosted by Vizmanos alongside José Bauz and Jaime Macías setting the scene for the English soccer matches of the day. Headlining the day, Chelsea vs. Manchester United features two of England’s most storied clubs battling for positioning as the season enters its final stretch, with Luis Omar Tapia and Diego Balado calling the action live from Stamford Bridge in London.

On Saturday evening, Liga MX takes center stage as Chivas (no. 1) face Puebla (No. 16) in match 15 of the Clausura tournament from Estadio Akron at 9:00 p.m. ET on Telemundo, Universo, and Peacock, with Alonso Gonzalez covering pitch side. José Luis López Salido and Jorge Calvo call the match.

On Sunday, April 19, Premier League coverage continues at 11:30 a.m. ET hosted by Carlota Vizmanos as Manchester City face Arsenal in a high-stakes matchup between title contenders, with Arsenal looking to maintain its edge and Manchester City pushing to close the gap in the standings. Telemundo’s Luis Omar Tapia and Diego Balado call the match on-site live from Etihad Stadium in Manchester.

Later in the evening, fans can tune in to Sunday Night Baseball at 7:20 p.m. ET on Universo, as the Atlanta Braves take on the Philadelphia Phillies, hosted by Adriana Monsalve alongside José Luis López Salido.
