Viewers Will Decide the Winner by Voting for their Favorite Contestant, Who Will Be Crowned the Next Latin Music Star and Earn a Recording Contract with Universal Music Latino and GTS
MIAMI, FL – August 5, 2026 — After weeks of hard work, growth, and unforgettable performances, Telemundo’s Operación Triunfo Estados Unidos will culminate with its live finale on Monday, August 10 at 7pm/6c. This innovative format introduced a new generation of young artists determined to become the next Latin music star. Now, the power is in the hands of the audience, whose votes will determine who will be named the next Latin music star. The winner will receive a $100,000 cash prize and a recording contract with Universal Music Latino and GTS to launch their music career.
Representing communities across the United States, Puerto Rico, and several countries throughout Latin America, Operación Triunfo Estados Unidos began with 20 aspiring artists, each with unique stories, musical influences, and dreams. Of those, 16 earned a place in the Academy. Now, as they continue their journey toward the live finale, the remaining contestants are Aziz, Daniel, Frankie, Guido, Jahaziel, Karol, Lalah, Leslie, and Wandy.
Tonight, the remaining contestants will take the stage for their live performances, with one of them saying goodbye to the competition at the end of the gala. On Thursday and Friday, the eight competitors will continue training at the Academy as they prepare for Sunday’s live semifinal, where they will battle for one of five coveted spots in the highly anticipated live finale on Monday, August 10. The winner will be revealed live at the end of the broadcast.
Hosted by Natalia Téllez, Operación Triunfo Estados Unidos features David Bisbal, Ana Bárbara, and Ximena Sariñana as judges of the music competition. Leading the Academy is award-winning singer-songwriter Erika Ender as Academy Director, joined by Laura Flores as Acting Coach, along with Jorge Romano as Musical Director, among other renowned industry experts.
