Miami, FL – October 15, 2026 – With just one week left to vote, fans have a historic opportunity to choose a winner at the Billboard Latin Music Awards for the first time with a new Fan Favorite Artist award. Fuerza Regida, KAROL G, Peso Pluma, Prince Royce and Tito Double P, this year’s five leading finalists, are competing for the new award, putting the decision directly in the hands of those who listen to, support and follow their favorite artists. The winner will be revealed LIVE during the awards show on Thursday, October 22, at 8 p.m. ET / 7C on Telemundo and Peacock.
What artists are in the running for the title of “Fan Favorite Artist “?
The five artists competing for Fan Favorite Artist lead this year’s finalists, reflecting their success across the Billboard charts. Peso Pluma leads with 17 finalist placements, including Artist of the Year and Hot Latin Song of the Year, followed by Tito Double P with 15, including Artist of the Year and Global 200 Latin Song of the Year. Fuerza Regida is a finalist in 12 categories, including Artist of the Year and Global 200 Latin Artist of the Year. KAROL G follows with nine, including Artist of the Year and Tour of the Year, while Prince Royce rounds out the top five with eight, including Tropical Artist of the Year, Solo, and Tropical Song of the Year.
How can fans cast their vote for “Fan Favorite Artist”?
Voting is now open at Telemundo.com/vota. Eligible fans can cast up to 10 votes per day using a Google account and an additional 10 votes per day using an NBCUniversal profile, for a total of up to 20 votes daily across both options.
Voting is free and open to individuals ages 13 and older in the United States, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico, in accordance with the official rules. Voting closes Thursday, October 22, at approximately 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT, subject to the official rules. The artist receiving the most valid votes will become the first-ever Fan Favorite Artist award winner.
When and where to watch the Billboard Latin Music Awards:
Hosted by Carmen Villalobos and Javier Poza, the 2026 Billboard Latin Music Awards will take place Thursday, October 22, at the James L. Knight Center in Miami, LIVE at 8 p.m. ET / 7C on Telemundo and Peacock. The awards will also be available on Universo and the Telemundo App, as well as throughout Latin America and the Caribbean via Telemundo Internacional.
The celebration kicks off with the LIVE blue carpet coverage at 7 p.m. ET / 6C, featuring the arrival of Latin music’s biggest stars. Tickets to attend the show are available through Ticketmaster.
