Join Telemundo’s Celebration of Mexico’s Independence with Viva México, El Grito, a Live Network Event Airing Tuesday, September 15 at 11:45pm/10:45c

MIAMI – September 10, 2026Telemundo presents Viva México, El Grito, a network special featuring all the excitement, music, and tradition of Mexico’s Independence Day celebrations on Tuesday, September 15 at 11:45pm/10:45c. Live from Mexico City’s iconic Zócalo, the special will be hosted by Jimena Gállego, Penélope Menchaca, and Héctor Sandarti, who will take viewers through a night filled with pride and celebration.

Viva México, El Grito will feature musical performances by María José, Saúl “El Jaguar,” Maribel Guardia, Ha*Ash, as well as special performances by legendary artists Emmanuel and Pedro Fernández, along with the traditional Grito de Independencia ceremony led by President Claudia Sheinbaum from the National Palace. Also joining the festivities, Anette Cuburu will report live from the Monument to the Revolution in Mexico City; Andrea Meza will be in Dallas, Texas, alongside Lorenzo Méndez and Cristina Eustace; and Lourdes Stephen will be live from Las Vegas, bringing viewers all the festive spirit of this special celebration.
