MIAMI, Fla. – July 1, 2026 – Telemundo will mark America’s 250th Independence Day with a day of landmark live programming, bringing Hispanic audiences front-row access to several of the nation’s most iconic celebrations on Saturday, July 4. Beginning at 9am/8c with Sail 4th 250, featuring exclusive Spanish-language coverage of the nation’s historic maritime celebration from New York Harbor, and continuing that evening with the legendary Macy’s Celebración de 4 de Julio at 8 pm/7c. The night will culminate with a Noticias Telemundo special highlighting major celebrations across the country.
Hosted by Hoy Día‘s Carlos Calderón and Al Rojo Vivo’s Lourdes Stephen the celebration begins at 9 am/8c with Sail 4th 250, a live special from New York Harbor commemorating the United States’ 250th anniversary. Telemundo will bring Hispanic audiences exclusive Spanish-language coverage of one of the nation’s most historic celebrations, showcasing what is expected to be the largest maritime and aerial gathering in U.S. history. Viewers will witness the historic International Parade of Sail as 48 majestic tall ships from 20 nations journey past New York City’s iconic landmarks, joined by an International Naval Review and an International Aerial Review featuring nearly 200 military and civilian aircraft. Telemundo station anchors and correspondents will provide live reports from key locations across the harbor. Combining breathtaking live images, rich cultural storytelling, and on-the-ground reporting, Sail 4th 250 will give viewers a front-row seat to this once-in-a-generation celebration of America’s 250th anniversary.
At 8pm/7c, Telemundo will present Macy’s Celebración de 4 de Julio, a Spanish-language simulcast of the nation’s most iconic Independence Day fireworks spectacular. Hosted by En Casa con Telemundo’s Carlos Adyan and Al Rojo Vivo’s Jessica Carrillo, live from New York City, the special will feature electrifying performances and appearances by Noah Kahan, Post Malone, Salt-N-Pepa, Bebe Rexha, Shaboozey, Blake Shelton, and more. The celebration will culminate with more than 85,000 pyrotechnic shells in 30 vibrant colors, synchronized to a dazzling laser display from the Brooklyn Bridge, creating a breathtaking visual experience that illuminates the New York skyline and captivates audiences across the country.
At 10pm/9c, Noticias Telemundo will air special coverage with reports from a team of correspondents at major celebrations across the country. The one-hour special will also include coverage of President Donald Trump’s Independence Day address. With live reporting and analysis, the special will capture a national celebration reflecting on America’s founding and looking toward its future.
