With a Distinguished Track Record as an Actress and Host of Successful Reality Shows, Téllez Brings her Charisma and Expertise to this Competition Which Introduces a New Generation of Talent
MIAMI, FL – May 13, 2026 — Telemundo announces Natalia Téllez as the host of the musical competition Operación Triunfo Estados Unidos, set to premiere this July. With her fresh style and a distinguished career as an actress and host of successful television formats, Téllez joins the Spanish-language network for the first time, marking a new chapter in her career. This global phenomenon brings together a group of young talent who will compete in spectacular live shows for the opportunity to turn their dreams into a professional music career.
As one of Mexico’s most versatile and charismatic personalities, Téllez has more than two decades of experience in the industry as an actress and television host, recognized for her work in telenovelas, series, films, and TV programs. She began her career on the hit telenovela Rebelde and established herself as a host on Telehit, later leading major formats such as ¿Quién es la Máscara?, La Voz México, and Netas Divinas. She has appeared in films such as Enfermo Amor, Después de Ti, and Veinteañera, Divorciada y Fantástica, among others. Her most recent project is the series Las Azules, whose second season is currently in development, along with other recent productions such as María, ¡Me Muero! and Profe Infiltrado.
Operación Triunfo Estados Unidos is a music competition that will introduce a new generation of singers from diverse backgrounds and styles, selected from auditions held across the United States and Puerto Rico. Contestants will live together in a state-of-the-art academy, where they will receive intensive training and prepare for the live galas. Each week, they will face the challenge of advancing in the competition, as the judges and the audience decide who continues in the pursuit of launching their music career. The winner will be crowned in the grand finale and will receive a recording contract and grand prize to help launch their artistic career.
Telemundo will soon announce the judging panel, academy director, and other contestants joining Operación Triunfo Estados Unidos.
