NEW YORK – Oct. 5, 2026 – NBCUniversal Local’s COZI TV will premiere the original docuseries The Reunion Project this Saturday, Oct. 10, at 5 p.m. ET with an hour-long episode, The Watch That Found Its Way Home. Hosted by storyteller Cody Broadway, the series follows real people searching for someone, or something, connected to their past, uncovering powerful stories of family, identity, history and human connection along the way.

The Reunion Project combines investigative reporting and emotional storytelling to uncover answers, restore connections and bring deeply personal journeys to life. The series will launch with four original episodes this year across COZI TV, the national multicast network.

The premiere episode, The Watch That Found Its Way Home, follows John after he inherits a 120-year-old pocket watch engraved “C.P. Warner – 1902,” setting off a journey from New York to England to uncover its origins. The investigation reveals forgotten records, fractured family connections and the life of a man nearly lost to history. What begins as an effort to return an antique ultimately becomes a mission to restore C.P. Warner’s name, legacy and rightful place in the story of the family and regiment he left behind.

“Our new seriesbrings together compelling storytelling and deeply human experiences that we believe will resonate with audiences,” said Diane Petzke, Vice President of Programming & Partnerships at NBCUniversal Local. “We’re proud of bringing these remarkable journeys to life and look forward to introducing viewers to the show.”

The Watch That Found Its Way Home episode will encore on COZI TV on Sunday, Oct. 11, at 12 p.m. ET and Saturday, Oct. 17 at 5 p.m. ET. and streaming on NBC-owned stations’ FAST streaming channels, with episodes also available on Peacock in December.

“The Reunion Project is deeply personal to me because I understand what it means to search for someone who is part of your story,” said host Cody Broadway. “My own journey to find my father showed me how powerful that search can be and how much we all want to understand where we come from. This series gives us the opportunity to help people uncover answers, reconnect with their past and tell the remarkable human stories we discover along the way.”

COMING TO THE REUNION PROJECT IN 2026

The first four episodes of The Reunion Project explore searches spanning generations, from long-held questions about family and identity to mysteries hidden within history. In addition to The Watch That Found Its Way Home, stories include:

The Sister They Never Stopped Looking For – After nearly 50 years of unanswered questions, a DNA discovery leads Stacy to a biological father she never knew was alive and siblings who have been searching for her for decades, opening the door to a long-awaited family reunion.

So Close To Home – Adopted as a newborn, Jennifer’s lifelong search for her biological family takes an unexpected turn when DNA results reveal her birth mother has been living just 20 minutes away, forcing her to consider how far she is willing to go for answers.

The Third Sister – Two sisters who have long questioned whether they were born as triplets embark on a search for a possible third sister separated from them at birth, following incomplete records and new leads in hopes of finally uncovering the truth.

The Reunion Project features researchers, historians, genealogists, and specialists who help Broadway follow the clues behind each story.  Contributors include D. Joshua Taylor, President and CEO of the New York Genealogical & Biographical Society; Seton Hall University history professor Dr. Thomas Rzeznik; author and historian Rickie Solinger; nationally known psychotherapist and author Dr. Robi Ludwig; church-restoration specialist Ian Wells; Dale Nufer of Super Recognisers International, a leading facial recognition consultancy organization; genealogical researcher Jamie Longfellow and other members of The Search Squad, an on-line volunteer research group; and jewelry and watch specialist Harry Mizrahi of Louis Martin Jewelers in New York City.
