NEW YORK – June 18, 2026 – NBCUniversal Local’s LXTV Productions will premiere the half-hour special edition of its Emmy-winning lifestyle and travel program 1st Look Presents: Sail4th 250 – Celebration of America hosted by Jared Haibon, an actor and reality TV star who appears on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Rhode Island, on NBC stations across the nation this weekend following Saturday Night Live

Sail4th 250 – Celebration of America explores the historic port cities that are part of the journey taken by tall ships en route to participate in the major international goodwill events planned in New York Harbor this Fourth of July to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States, Sail4th 250, which is expected to be the largest maritime and aerial gathering in U.S. history with tall ships, naval vessels and aircraft from 46 nations.

The special visits iconic port cities New York, New Orleans and Boston and their waterways – as well as the U.S. Coast Guard’s ‘Eagle,’ the 295-foot square-rigged training ship known as ‘America’s Tall Ship’ participating in Sail4th 250’s ‘International Parade of Sail’ – to capture the spirit, pride and pageantry of America’s maritime legacy as the nation prepares for an unforgettable Semiquincentennial celebration.

Sail4th 250 – Celebration of America begins in New York City, where Haibon explores the harbor and historic landmarks, including the Fraunces Tavern. In New Orleans, he examines the Mississippi River’s influence on food, music and culture and how maritime history continues to shape communities today. The special concludes in Boston, to examine the city’s waterfront heritage and its role in America’s founding story.

Sail4th 250 – Celebration of America is part of NBCU Local’s Our 250, NBC- and Telemundo-owned stations’ comprehensive 100-day multiplatform campaign commemorating the United States’ 250th anniversary. Our 250 delivers extensive news coverage, specials, features and vignettes covering storylines showcasing America’s history, traditions, people and places, and covering events and activities across the nation.

NBCU Local is an official media partner of Sail4th 250. Through the partnership, NBCUniversal News Group will present six hours of exclusive Sail4th 250 coverage on July 4 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. ET, which will be live on NBC, Telemundo, NBC News NOW and Peacock. The special coverage will feature Sail4th 250’s International Parade of Sail, International Naval Review (INR 250), and the International Aerial Review.

Following its premiere this weekend, Sail4th 250 – Celebration of America will encore across NBC-owned stations and stream on Peacock, the NBC-owned stations’ free, ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) channels and on the 1st Look YouTube channel.
