Callers Can Speak Live to Attorneys and Immigration Experts from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
PHILADELPHIA – (March 3, 2025) – As part of the Telemundo Station Group’s Inmigración y Tus Derechos initiative and in partnership with the Mexican Consulate of Philadelphia, Telemundo62 / WWSI-TV will host an immigration phone bank on Thursday, March 6, from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. ET. During the live broadcast, viewers can call a toll-free number to speak with attorneys and immigration experts to gain clarity on immigration issues and recent policy changes.
“We are committed to providing our community with the resources and information they need to navigate through these changing immigration policies,” said Ana Hernandez, News Director for Telemundo62. “We are proud to partner with the Mexican Consulate of Philadelphia to provide direct access to legal experts who can offer clarity and guidance to the community.”
The immigration phone bank will be staffed by bilingual experts ensuring access to resources for Spanish-speaking as well as English-speaking audiences across the Greater Philadelphia region. Telemundo62 will announce the phone number when the phone bank goes live on Thursday at 5 p.m. Viewers can also submit their questions via email to confiladelfia@sre.gob.mx.

Consul Obrador pointed out that “this effort is also possible thanks to the lawyers and experts from Solow, Harnett and Galvan Immigration Law who belong to our Immigration Legal Assistance Program.”
Inmigración y Tus Derechos, led by the Telemundo-owned stations, includes a variety of events and special reports, including local town halls, phone banks, and special broadcasts. These efforts aim to educate and empower the community by providing valuable information and resources.
