March 25, 2026 – Meet the Press with Kristen Welker was ranked the #1 Sunday public affairs show for A25-54 key demo viewers this past Sunday, March 22, according to Nielsen.
Meet the Press averaged 388,000 key A25-54 demo viewers this past Sunday, leading ABC by +66,000 (+21%) and CBS by +13,000 (+3%). Compared to prior year, Meet the Press more than doubled its A25-54 lead vs. ABC (+66,000 vs. 29,000 prior year).
Meet the Press averaged 2.432 million total viewers this past Sunday. Meet the Press was the #1 Sunday public affairs show among key A25-54 demo viewers for the 2024-25 broadcast season and ranks #1 season-to-date for the 2025-26 season. Meet the Press has never lost a month in the Washington, D.C. market among total viewers.
In addition to Nielsen-tracked viewers, on NBC News’ TikTok account, a single clip of Sunday’s exclusive interview with Cuban Deputy Foreign Minister Carlos Fernández de Cossío scored 5.1 million views. Sunday’s show also featured exclusive interviews with Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.).
