Cesar Conde, Chairman, NBCUniversal News Group, said, “This is the moment to deepen our focus on how major companies are driving change and innovation. The decisions they’re making are reshaping how people live, work and spend—and audiences need clear, trusted reporting to understand what it means for them.”
Rebecca Blumenstein, President, Editorial, NBC News, added, “Our goal is to make business coverage more accessible and more relevant to a broad audience, expanding how and where we tell these stories to help people understand what economic shifts mean for them.”
Business in America marks the next step in NBC News’ broader investment in business journalism across the organization. NBC News recently announced a partnership with Joanna Stern, a leading voice in technology journalism, as well as an upcoming NBC News NOW program hosted by Romans, giving audiences a destination for smart, accessible coverage of business and the economy.
