Actor Rafael Amaya Gives Exclusive Insight into the Resurgence of the Ruthless Aurelio Casillas in New Featurette
WHAT: Telemundo dropped today an exclusive video featuring Mexican star Rafael Amaya ahead of the highly-anticipated premiere of the ninth season of “El Señor de los Cielos.” Amaya, who portrays the notorious TV drug lord Aurelio Casillas, gives fans an exclusive look into the return of the hit series and what to expect from its ruthless protagonist.
In this upcoming season, Aurelio’s wrath awakens and unleashes a wave of violence in the country as he seeks revenge after his son Ismael gets arrested. With new and old enemies to neutralize, Aurelio will show no mercy as he lets out the beast that made him the infamous Lord of the Skies.
