Telemundo and Peacock Coverage of FIFA World Cup™ 2026 Mexico vs Czechia Match Becomes Second Most-Watched Soccer Match in Spanish-Language Media History in Total Audience

Miami, FL, June 26, 2026 – Telemundo and Peacock’s coverage of the FIFA World Cup™ 2026 continues to drive impressive results as Mexico’s final Group Stage match on June 24versus Czechia delivered a 12.3 million total audience delivery (TAD), becoming the second-most watched soccer match in Spanish-language media history in total audience, behind only the Mexico vs South Korea match played on June 18 (14.0 million TAD).  This also represents a +177% increase over Mexico’s final Group Stage match in the 2022 tournament vs Saudi Arabia (4.4 million TAD).  Over their three Group Stage matches in this year’s tournament, Mexico delivered an average 12.1 million TAD, an increase of +102% over their performance in 2022 (6.0 million TAD).

The Brazil vs Scotland match on June 24 delivered 5.9 million total audience delivery, a +125% increase over Brazil’s final Group Stage match in 2022 vs Cameroon (2.6 million TAD).  In addition, Brazil’s average total audience delivery for the Group Stage this year is 7.0 million viewers, +97% vs their delivery in the 2022 tournament (3.6 million TAD).
