The 13th Edition of the Prestigious Ceremony Will Rebroadcast on Telemundo at 12:30am/11:30pm CT
MIAMI – May 6, 2026 – Universo and Telexitos announce the live broadcast of the 13th edition of the PLATINO XCARET Awards, the prestigious ceremony celebrating the best in Spanish- and Portuguese-language film and television, airing this Saturday, May 9 at 9pm/8pm CT. The event will be rebroadcast on Telemundo at 12:30am/11:30pm CT.
From the Gran Tlachco Theater at Xcaret Park in Riviera Maya, Mexico, this year’s ceremony will be hosted by Carlos Torres and Cayetana Guillén Cuervo. The red carpet, preceding the awards, will be hosted by Telemundo’s Lourdes Stephen together with Carolina Ramírez in an evening that will bring together leading stars and industry figures to honor the season’s top productions and talent.
The PLATINO XCARET Awards ceremony will feature renowned personalities who will serve as presenters of the coveted statuette, including Alfredo Castro, Altair Jarabo, Ana Claudia Talarcón, André Lamoglia, Antonia Zegers, Belén Rueda, Carmen Villalobos, Carolina Kopelioff, Carolina Miranda, Christian Malheiros, Christian Meier, Diego Boneta, Geraldine Bazán, Giba, Javier Sotomayor, Jorge López, José Eduardo Derbez, Juan Alfonso Baptista, Juana Acosta, Ludwika Paleta, Manolo Cardona, Mariela Garriga, Maxi Iglesias, Michel Brown, Paco León, Samantha Siqueiros, Santiago Cabrera, Sara Linares, Sofía Aragón, Stephanie Cayo, and Valeria Mazza. Also presenting awards will be Álvaro Cervantes, winner of Best Supporting Actor (Sorda), as well as César Troncoso and Andrea Pietra, winners of Best Supporting Actor and Actress in a Miniseries (El eternauta). During the ceremony, Guillermo Francella will be honored with the Honorary Award in recognition of his outstanding career as an Argentine actor, comedian, and producer in television, film, and theater.
The PLATINO XCARET Awards will feature musical performances by Camilo, performing one of his biggest hits live; Manuel Carrasco, blending flamenco and pop; and María Becerra, who will perform a pop ballad with urban influences.
