Miami, FL, April 7, 2026 – Telemundo and Billboard announced renowned Latin performers Ivy Queen and Young Miko as the second group of trailblazing artists set to be honored at the fourth annual Billboard Latin Women in Music special. The two-hour event will broadcast live on Thursday, April 23 at 9pm/8c on Telemundo and will also stream live on Peacock and the Telemundo app.
As the only annual televised celebration dedicated to Latina artists shaping the future of music, the special spotlights women whose artistry, influence, and impact continue to transform the industry. Now in its fourth year, Billboard Latin Women in Music has solidified its position as a powerful platform, bringing together the most influential voices in Latin music for a night of standout performances, recognition, and community.
These honorees will be recognized with the following awards:
- Legendary Latin urban trailblazerIvy Queen will receive the “Pioneer” award, which celebrates female artists whose groundbreaking contributions have reshaped the music industry, recognizing those who have broken barriers, forged new paths, and inspired future generations through their artistry and cultural impact. She is being honored for redefining what was possible for women in reggaetón, carving out her own space with unapologetic conviction, lyrical power, and a fearless sense of identity in a male-dominated genre. For more than three decades, she has built an enduring presence in Latin music, commanding major stages and shaping the genre long before female representation became widespread. Her career includes the No. 1 albums, Sentimiento and Drama Queen, on Billboard’s Latin Rhythm Albums chart, as well as numerous top 10 entries on the Hot Latin Songs and Latin Airplay charts, reflecting her lasting commercial success. Her longevity and ongoing evolution have expanded the role of women in Latin urban music and opened doors for the artists who now lead the movement.
- Multi-platinum global star Young Miko will receive the “Unstoppable Artist” award, recognizing an artist who has rapidly risen to dominate the charts, influence the industry, and captivate audiences with sustained excellence.
