Casting Is Now Open for Reality Set to Premiere in 2025

Miami, FL, November 18, 2024 – Telemundo announced the launch of a new, live reality competition, Miss Universe® Latina, El Reality, set to premiere in 2025. Building on its years-long partnership with the Miss Universe® Organization, this new format will offer Latinas the opportunity to compete for a chance to be crowned the first-ever Miss Universe® Latina delegate, representing Latina women in the 74th edition of the pageant next year. Inspired by the breadth and richness of Latino culture and diversity, fifty talented, beautiful, and charismatic Latinas will come together to showcase their intelligence, resilience, and cultural pride. This vibrant, live competition will combine elegance, leadership, glamour, and empowerment with the most authentic drama.

During Miss Universe® Latina, El Reality, contestants will undergo dynamic and transformative training and coaching led by experts in various modalities, such as leadership, runway, fashion, public speaking and advocacy, preparing them to shine on the world stage. Throughout the competition, candidates will have the opportunity to showcase their Latina identity while supporting the values of the Miss Universe® Organization. The winner of the competition will be selected by a panel of expert judges and will be crowned as the first Miss Universe® Latina to proudly represent the strength and pride of their roots.
Participants for Miss Universe® Latina: El Reality will be selected via a national casting process which is now open at www.telemundo.com/castings. Aspiring candidates must meet the Miss Universe® Latina, El Reality requirements and criteria, in addition to being fluent in Spanish.
