NBC 5 Chicago’s “Open House Chicago” Announces Expanded 20 Episode Season Showcasing the Area’s Most Sought-after Luxury Properties

Chicago, IL (June 8, 2026) – NBC 5 Chicago’s (WMAQ-TV) popular, Emmy-nominated luxury real estate series Open House Chicago will return for an expanded third season featuring 20 brand new episodes, delivering even more exclusive, insider access to the hottest residential properties on the market, along with expert advice, beginning Sunday, June 14 at 10:00 AM CT.

Hosted / Executive Produced by Cortney Hall,co-star of NBC 5’s popular weekday entertainment & lifestyle program Chicago Today, NBC 5 will air weekly episodes of Open House Chicago on Sunday mornings at 10:00 AM CT, immediately following Meet the Press. The program will also stream simultaneously on the NBC 5 Chicago News live streaming channel, with episodes available on NBC Chicago’s YouTube channel. 

Continuing its sharp focus on showcasing Chicagoland’s most sought-after luxury residences, while also educating viewers on their architecture, design, and history, Season 3 of Open House Chicago will feature properties in iconic locations including the John Hancock Center, Historic Bronzeville, Little Italy, and lakefront homes, among many others. The new season will also introduce fresh themes such as Historic vs. Modern, Wine Cellars, Famously Owned Homes, Baller Basements, Lush Landscapes and more.

New this season, viewers will also receive professional outdoor styling guidance from exterior decorating specialists at Scott Byron & Co.
