Ranks #1 in the Key A25-54 Demo Season-to-Date
June 9, 2026 – Meet the Press with Kristen Welker was ranked the #1 Sunday public affairs show across the board this past Sunday, June 7, for Welker’s exclusive interview with President Donald Trump. Meet the Press was #1 in total viewers and #1 in both A25-54 and A18-49 demo viewers according to Nielsen. In addition to Nielsen-tracked viewers, more than 23 million have already viewed clips of the interview on NBC News digital platforms, including nearly 18 million on NBC News’ TikTok account.
Meet the Press averaged 3.095 million total viewers this Sunday, outperforming ABC by +544,000 (+21%) and CBS by +761,000 (+33%). Meet the Press posted the biggest audience growth vs. both the prior week and the same Sunday last year. This is Meet the Press’ first #1 finish and widest advantage over ABC in over a year and biggest win over CBS —which continues to rate for just 30 minutes of its hour-long broadcast— since 2018. Sunday’s total audience on Meet the Press was a 19-week high.
Meet the Press averaged 489,000 A25-54 viewers, topping ABC by +120,000 (+33%) and CBS by +197,000 (+67%). In addition, Meet the Press averaged 311,000 A18-49 viewers, leading ABC by +56,000 (+22%) and CBS by +78,000 (+33%).
Meet the Press is the #1 ranked Sunday affairs program among the key demo season-to-date for the second consecutive season. Meet the Press has never lost a month in the Washington, D.C. market among total viewers.
