June 4, 2026 – President Donald Trump will sit down with NBC News’ Kristen Welker for a Sunday show exclusive interview airing on Meet the Press with Kristen Welker this Sunday, June 7.
Highlights from the interview, which will take place on Friday, June 5, will be released prior to Sunday’s Meet the Press on NBC News, NBC News NOW and NBCNews.com, all available on the NBC News app. The full video interview and transcript will publish on NBCNews.com this Sunday, June 7.
This will be Welker’s fourth sit-down interview with President Trump. During her previous wide-ranging interview in May 2025, President Trump made some of his most notable comments since returning to office, including telling Welker “I don’t know” when asked if he needs to uphold the Constitution of the United States as president.
Meet the Press airs at 10:30 a.m. ET in New York and Washington, D.C. and is available on local NBC stations across the country. Check local listings for the program time according to local markets.
