Ranks #1 in the Key A25-54 Demo Season-to-Date
June 3, 2026 – Meet the Press with Kristen Welker was ranked the #1 Sunday public affairs show in May among the key A25-54 demo viewers according to Nielsen.
In May 2026, Meet the Press averaged 347,000 key A25-54 demo viewers, leading ABC by +35,000 (+11%) and CBS by +16,000 (+5%). Meet the Press has ranked #1 in the key demo 14 of the last 16 months, outperforming ABC for 21 consecutive months and leading CBS—which continues to rate for just 30 minutes of its hour-long broadcast—for four of the last five months.
Meet the Press averaged 2.225 million total viewers in May. Meet the Press is the #1 ranked Sunday affairs program among the key demo season-to-date for the second consecutive season. Meet the Press has never lost a month in the Washington, D.C. market among total viewers. The show also reaches millions of Americans every month through digital platforms.
May’s broadcasts featured interviews with former Vice President Mike Pence, Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche, Energy Secretary Chris Wright, Gov. Andy Beshear (D-Ky.), former FBI Director James Comey, Sen. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) as well as a bipartisan “Common Ground” interview with Govs. Wes Moore (D-Md.) and Sarah Huckabee Sanders (R-Ark.) on maternal health and a “Meet the Moment” interview with Reshma Saujani on investing in girls learning to code.
