Ranks #1 in Key A25-54 Demo Season-to-Date
April 1, 2026 — Meet the Press with Kristen Welker was the #1 Sunday public affairs show among A25-54 demo viewers in March according to Nielsen.
Meet the Press averaged 432,000 key A25-54 demo viewers in March, leading ABC by +52,000 (+14%) and CBS by +56,000 (+15%). This marks Meet the Press’s nineteenth consecutive month beating ABC among key demo viewers. Meet the Press has outperformed CBS among key demo viewers for thirteen of the last fourteen months, which continues to rate for just 30 minutes of its hour-long broadcast. Compared to prior year, Meet the Press improved its A25-54 demo lead vs. CBS (+57,000 vs. +7,000 prior year).
On Sunday, March 29, 2026, Meet the Press ranked #1 among A25-54 demo viewers and was the only Sunday public affairs show up vs. the prior week in both key demo viewers and total viewers. In addition, Meet the Press scored 2.471 million total viewers, its largest audience in four weeks.
Meet the Press was the #1 Sunday public affairs show among key A25-54 demo viewers for the 2024-25 broadcast season and ranks #1 in key A25-54 demo viewers season-to-date. Meet the Press has never lost a month in the Washington, D.C. market among total viewers.
March’s broadcasts featured exclusive interviews with Cuban Deputy Foreign Minister Carlos Fernández de Cossío, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.), and more.
