Continues as #1 in Key Demo Season-to-Date
Marks 100th Straight Broadcast Win in Influential Washington, D.C. Market
JUNE 6, 2017 – NBC News’ “Meet the Press with Chuck Todd” (MTP) was the #1 most-watched Sunday show across the board this past Sunday, June 4, according to Nielsen data.
MTP, which exclusively featured former Secretary of State John Kerry and an interview with E.P.A. Administrator Scott Pruitt, delivered 3.274 million total viewers. The network broadcast topped CBS’ “Face the Nation” by three percent (+82,000) and ABC’s “This Week” by five percent (+169,000).
999,000 A25-54 viewers tuned into MTP on Sunday: +44 percent (+305,000) more than CBS and eight percent (+73,000) more than ABC. MTP continues its #1 season-to-date lead in the key demo, the demo most valued by news advertisers.
An additional 2.719 million total viewers and 633,000 key demo viewers watched MTP through rebroadcasts on MSNBC.
MTP also marked its 100th consecutive broadcast as the #1 most-watched Sunday show in the influential Washington, D.C. market.
