Exclusive Interview to Air This Sunday on “Meet the Press with Chuck Todd”
OCT. 14, 2016 – In an exclusive interview with “Meet the Press” moderator Chuck Todd, Vice President Joe Biden reacted to Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump bringing up former President Bill Clinton’s past on the campaign trail, telling Todd: “It shouldn’t matter.”
“I can’t make any excuse for Bill Clinton’s conduct, and I wouldn’t attempt to make any excuses for the conduct,” Biden said. “But he paid a price for it. He paid a price. He was impeached.”
The vice president continued: Trump, on the other hand, “has acknowledged that he has been a sexual predator. He’s acknowledged that he’s abused his power. And the– as I said, the textbook definition of what constitutes sexual assault.”
The interview took place yesterday in Las Vegas following a rally for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.
