Delivers Largest Key Demo Lead vs. CBS In Over Five Years

March 11, 2026 – Meet the Press with Kristen Welker was ranked the #1 Sunday public affairs show for A25-54 key demo viewers this past Sunday, March 8, according to Nielsen. 

Meet the Press averaged 491,000 key A25-54 demo viewers this past Sunday, leading ABC by +108,000 (+28%) and CBS by +187,000 (+61%). Meet the Press was the only Sunday public affairs show to increase in the key demo vs. the prior week and prior year. In addition, this marked Meet the Press’s largest key demo lead vs. CBS in over five years, which continues to rate for just 30 minutes of its hour-long broadcast.

Meet the Press averaged 2.436 million total viewers this past Sunday. Meet the Press was the #1 Sunday public affairs show among key A25-54 demo viewers for the 2024-25 broadcast season and ranks #1 season-to-date for the 2025-26 season. Meet the Press has never lost a month in the Washington, D.C. market among total viewers. 

In addition to Nielsen-tracked viewers, on NBC News’ TikTok account, Sunday’s interviews scored nearly 6.8 million views, with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi’s exclusive interview garnering 6.1 million views. Sunday’s interviews, also including an exclusive with House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) and an interview with U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Mike Waltz, resulted in nearly 1.9 million views on NBC News’ YouTube account.
