USWNT vs. England: Saturday, Nov. 30, at 12 p.m. ET on Telemundo, Universo, and Peacock
USWNT vs. Netherlands: Tuesday, Dec. 3, at 2:30 p.m. ET on Universo and Peacock
MIAMI, Fla. – November 27, 2024 – Telemundo, the Spanish-language home of the U.S. National Teams, takes fans across the Atlantic for two international friendly matches that wrap up a gold medal year for the U.S. Women’s National Team (USWNT) against England and Netherlands.
On Saturday, November 30, USWNT will face the 2022 European Champions and 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup finalists England at the iconic Wembley Stadium in London. Coverage begins at 12 p.m. ET on Telemundo, Universo and Peacock, featuring special interviews with members of the U.S. team.
On Tuesday, December 3, the action continues as the USWNT visits the Netherlands for the first time since a 1-1 draw in group play at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup at the ADO Den Haag Stadium in The Hague. The match coverage kicks off at 2:30 p.m. ET on Universo and Peacock.
Telemundo’s coverage will feature Carlota Vizmanos, alongside an award-winning commentary team, including renowned play-by-play announcer Copan Alvarez, former Mexican National Team star Manuel Sol, and professional coach and analyst Natalia Astrain. Adding an on-the-ground perspective, sideline reporter Manuel Sanchez Gomez will report live from Wembley on Saturday.
These matchups bring together some of the biggest names in women’s soccer. England (2022) and the Netherlands (2017) are the two most recent UEFA Women’s Euro champions and have both reached FIFA Women’s World Cup finals in the last two editions. England fell to Spain in 2023, while the Netherlands lost to the U.S. in 2019.
The matches mark the international farewell of legendary U.S. goalkeeper Alyssa Naeher, one of the most decorated players in women’s soccer history. Naeher ends her international career with third-place all-time in goalkeeper caps (113), starts (110), wins (88) and shutouts (68) behind only fellow USWNT goalkeeping legends Hope Solo and Briana Scurry. In celebration of Naeher’s incredible contributions to the USWNT, Telemundo will air a special segment highlighting her storied career.
Fans can join the conversation and cheer on the USWNT by following @TelemundoDeportes on Facebook, Instagram, X, and TikTok and using the hashtag #USWNTtelemundo to show support for the USWNT.
