MIAMI – October 31, 2024 – Noticias Telemundo will deliver comprehensive multiplatform “Decisión 2024” election coverage across Telemundo network, streaming channel Noticias Telemundo AHORA and NoticiasTelemundo.com on Election Day. Noticias Telemundo AHORA’s coverage will kick off at 4 p.m. ET on Tuesday, November 5, followed by special election coverage on Telemundo network at 7 p.m. ET, led by main anchors Julio Vaqueiro and Arantxa Loizaga.

Broadcasting live from a custom-built, state-of-the-art election set at Telemundo Center, Noticias Telemundo’s Election Night team of anchors, correspondents, analysts and commentators will track the latest developments as the night unfolds, with on-the-ground reporting, up-to-the-minute results, key insights and analysis.

The extensive coverage will also feature in-depth reporting on the impact of the Latino vote, races involving Hispanic candidates plus reaction across the country from Latino voters, the second-largest group of voting-age Americans.

Noticias Telemundo’s coverage will be available across all its social and digital platforms, including Noticias Telemundo AHORA, launched earlier this year with original news programming and a special focus on Decisión 2024.

New visual storytelling components will be at the center of the coverage. Augmented reality and virtual reality technologies will deliver dynamic and engaging visualizations, real-time updates on election results and key race alerts to help viewers stay on top of the latest breaking news.

Leading up to Election Day, Noticias Telemundo has strengthened its position as a preferred news source for Latinos. The flagship Noticias Telemundo newscast is the only major broadcast network with year-over-year growth for 2024 to-date among all viewers, according to Nielsen Panel data. During key moments in this year’s election cycle, including both presidential debates and the Democratic and Republican party conventions, Telemundo ranked as the #1 Spanish-language network among total viewers.

●    Noticias Telemundo AHORA’s Decisión 2024 coverage kicks off at 4 p.m. ET on Tuesday, Nov. 5 led by anchors Damià Bonmatí and Claudia de la Fuente. Coverage on Noticias Telemundo AHORA will continue with a simulcast of Noticias Telemundo’s rolling election special starting at 7 p.m. ET.

●    Julio Vaqueiro and Arantxa Loizaga will lead coverage starting at 7 p.m. ET, joined by Vanessa Hauc, Johana Suárez, Damià Bonmatí, Nicole Suárez and Rogelio Mora-Tagle who will be at the Big Board throughout the night to break down the latest polling, exit polls and results as votes are counted. Johana Suárez will examine the balance of power in Congress, Bonmatí will track conversations taking place on social media, and Hauc will track the races of Latinos running for office. Nicole Suárez will also examine exit polls and key ballot initiatives in states across the country.

DECISIÓN 2024 ELECTION COVERAGE CONTINUES ON WEDNESDAY

●    Beginning at 6 a.m. ET, Guad Venegas and Claudia de la Fuente will pick up coverage on Noticias Telemundo AHORA and later on Telemundo network until 12 p.m. ET with Damià Bonmatí at the Big Board.

●    Octavio Pulido and Nicole Suárez will anchor a special one-hour edition of “Noticias Telemundo Mediodía,” the network’s midday newscast.
