Mauricio Pochettino will make his highly anticipated debut as the U.S. Men’s National Team head coach this Saturday, as the USMNT faces off against Panama in a friendly match from Austin, Texas. Pochettino, who previously managed Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea, and Tottenham Hotspur, took the helm last month and aims to make a memorable first impression. His inaugural roster includes four MLS talents alongside established stars such as Christian Pulisic, Weston McKennie, and Yunus Musah. Telemundo’s award-winning broadcast team, led by host Carlota Vizmanos, with commentary from Andrés Cantor and analysis from Manuel Sol and Tab Ramos, will cover all the action live.
The excitement continues Sunday as Liga MX rivals Chivas and América go head-to-head in a Clásico-style friendly at a FIFA 2026 World Cup stadium in Houston, Texas. Veronica Rodríguez and Miguel Gurwitz will host the pregame show, featuring exclusive interviews with players from both teams.
To capture every moment from the sidelines, Copan Alvarez will be on-site in Austin on Saturday and Houston on Sunday. Adding a touch of star power to the pregame shows, Sed de Venganza stars Danilo Carrera and Isabella Castillo will join the broadcast on Saturday while Alexa Martin joins alongside Carrera on Sunday to engage fans and discuss their passion for the sport.
Exclusive interviews with New York Giants Devin Singletary and Darius Slayton are slated to air during the network’s coverage of Sunday Night Football featuring the Bengals and Giants. Miguel Gurwitz and Rolando Cantu call the action while the Bengals hope to take home another win, and the Giants aim to continue their two-week winning streak during Week 6.
