The Clásico Tapatío Takes Place This Saturday Night with Pre- and Post-Game Coverage Surrounding the Main Event
Three-Time Super Bowl Rivals Cowboys and Steelers Meet During NFL Week 5 on Sunday Night Football
MIAMI, FLA. – October 4, 2024 – This weekend, Telemundo offers fans a lineup of world-class sports, including Liga MX’s Clásico Tapatío, FIFA Futsal World Cup Final, Premier League, and NFL Sunday Night Football.
Saturday’s broadcast lineup is packed with exciting fútbol action, featuring Premier League matchups and Liga MX’s highly anticipated Clásico Tapatío. The day kicks off with La Liga Premier: Extra, setting the stage as Liverpool looks to defend their spot at the top of the table and Mexican striker Raúl Jimenez aims to score again, this time against Manchester City with Fulham.
Later, at 8 p.m. ET, Chivas fans can tune into Universo or Peacock for a one-hour pregame show, including an exclusive interview with Chivas right-back and winger Carlos Cisneros. The show leads up to the showdown against their crosstown rivals, Atlas, at 9 p.m. ET. Telemundo wraps up the evening with a comprehensive 30-minute postgame recap, breaking down all the key moments and highlights.
The FIFA Futsal World Cup comes to a close on Sunday morning as Brazil and Argentina vie for the championship title. Universo will present the final match followed by the trophy presentation ceremony.
NFL’s Week 5 showcases the most common match up in Super Bowl history in Acrisure Stadium when the Dallas Cowboys challenge the Pittsburg Steelers. The pregame show on Universo will feature interviews with Cowboys Running Back Rico Dowdle, Steelers Cornerback Dante Jackson, and Steelers Tight end Pat Freiermuth.
