Telemundo Features Final USWNT Matches Before the Olympic Women’s Soccer Team Selection on Universo and Peacock

First-Ever Spanish-Language Livestream of a U.S. Women’s Deaf National Team Match on Saturday, June 1 at 2 p.m. ET across Telemundo’s Digital Platforms

MIAMI, Fla. – May 30, 2024 – Telemundo, the Spanish-language home of the U.S. National Teams, features the final matches of the U.S. Women’s National Team before the selection of the 2024 U.S. Olympic Women’s Soccer Team. 

The USWNT will face Korea Republic on Saturday, June 1 at 5 p.m. ET in Commerce City, Co. and on Tuesday, June 4 at 8 p.m. ET in St. Paul, MI. Coverage of both matches will be LIVE on Universo and Peacock. These matches mark the debut of Head Coach Emma Hayes, who will have four matches with the team under her belt before the Olympics this summer. 

Telemundo sat down with Hayes to speak about her new role and what her plans are for the USWNT. The full interview will be available on Telemundo’s digital platforms this weekend. 

Telemundo Deportes award-winning commentary team will lead the coverage of all the action and provide in-depth game analysis. On the call for both matches are Carlota Vizmanos as host alongside Copan Alvarez as play-by-play with Manuel Sol and Natalia Astrain as soccer analysts. 

Ahead of Saturday’s USWNT v. Korea match, the U.S. Deaf WNT will face Australia at 2 p.m. ET in the first game of a historic doubleheader with the USWNT. The game against Australia will also mark the Deaf WNT’s first-ever full international match on U.S. soil and the first time a match of this team is live streamed in Spanish-language across Telemundo’s digital platforms.
