U.S. Spanish-Language TV Phenomenon, ‘La Casa de los Famosos,’ Comes to an End with a Spectacular Live Gala Next Monday, May 20 at 7 PM ET/6 PM C/4 PM PT on Telemundo

The Live Coast-to-Coast Broadcast Will Culminate When the Celebrity with the Highest Audience Vote Is Crowned Champion and Wins the $200,000 Cash Prize

Marking a First for the Competition, the Second Runner-Up will Take Home a $100,000 Cash Prize, while the Third Runner-up Wins $50,000

MIAMI, FL – May 14, 2024  – After 17 weeks of intense drama that broke viewership records making season four the most-watched in franchise history and the #1 Spanish-language TV show in its time slot since its premiere, Telemundo’s La Casa de los Famosos will culminate with a spectacular coast-to-coast live gala on Monday, May 20 at 7pm ET/6pm C/4pm PT. With José ‘La Melaza’ Reyes’ elimination at the end of last night’s episode, the seven finalists of the hit reality competition, were confirmed. The celebrity with the highest audience vote will be crowned as the champion and will take home the briefcase with the $200,000 in cash. For the first time in the history of the primetime program, the second runner-up will receive $100,000 while the third runner-up will take home a $50,000 cash prize.

Voting for this season’s winner is now open on LaCasaDeLosFamosos.com, where fans will be able to vote for their favorite personality until Monday’s live finale broadcast. Here are the finalists:

  • Geraldine Bazán, prominent Mexican actress who began her career in telenovelas and children’s programs in her native Mexico and has had numerous starring roles in hit TV productions and series.
  • Aleska Genesis, Venezuelan-born top model who has worked with renowned fashion designers and international brands, and currently owns a line of perfumes and swimwear.
  • Alana Lliteras, a renowned Mexican-born TV personality who was the winner and youngest contestant of the second season of Telemundo’s cooking competition, Top Chef VIP.
  • Lupillo Rivera, an iconic regional Mexican music singer and songwriter, who has a prolific career spanning more than a decade with multiple international awards and recognitions.
  • Maripily Rivera, one of the most recognized and talked-about celebrities in the U.S. Hispanic entertainment industry with over 1.7 million followers on Instagram, known as the ‘Boricua Hurricane’ and characterized by her vibrant and extroverted personality.
  • Rodrigo Romeh, Mexican-born personality with over 2 million followers on Instagram, who is  passionate about fitness, which led him to participate in world bodybuilding championships and Telemundo’s fifth season of Exatlón Estados Unidos.
  • Paulo Quevedo, talented Mexican actor who has become popular in the world of entertainment through starring roles in important TV productions in the U.S. and his native Mexico.

Leading up to the grand finale, this week viewers can tune in to Telemundo’s morning show, Hoy Día, featuring daily recaps in the popular Sin Censura segment, which offers the latest scoop and hottest moments of La Casa de los Famosos. On Sunday, May 19 at 7pm/6c, viewers can watch the semifinal where one housemate will be eliminated, followed by Pica y se Extiende with hosts Verónica Bastos and Carlos Adyan, who will bring viewers the most controversial moments of the realityandthe hottest topics in entertainment.
