MIAMI, FL – February 5, 2026 – Telemundo and Peacock today released a teaser for its upcoming Super Bowl spot, marking the next step in their road to the FIFA World Cup 26™ taking place this coming summer in the United States, Mexico and Canada.

The teaser offers a first look at Telemundo’s World Cup storytelling through a light, culturally driven moment featuring actor and lifelong soccer fan Owen Wilson. With humor and heart, the spot previews how Telemundo brings fans closer to the tournament through emotion, cultural connection, and the Spanish-language appeal that defines the world’s biggest sporting event. 

The teaser sets the stage for the full Super Bowl spot that will kick off the network’s broader World Cup campaign across NBCUniversal, Telemundo and Peacock. The full spot will air in the third quarter of the Super Bowl, following the halftime performance headlined by Bad Bunny, tapping into one of the night’s most culturally resonant moments.
