The Remaining Finalists, Martín Salvador, Jason Romo, and Estefanía Ahumada, Each Took Home a Cash Prize Based on their Final Standing
MIAMI – December 1, 2025 – La Isla: Desafío Extremo concluded its thrilling second season tonight, crowning Gary Centeno as the winner of the $200,000 cash prize during an epic live finale on Telemundo. For the first time ever, all finalists received cash prizes, including Martín Salvador, who took second place and $40,000; Jason Romo, who placed third with $25,000; and Estefanía Ahumada, who finished fourth with $15,000. This second season began with 18 contestants living in complete isolation, facing demanding physical and mental survival challenges in the middle of the Caribbean.
Gary Centeno, a member of Team Panteras, is a prominent actor known for his work in television, film, and theater. Originally from Costa Rica, he developed his artistic career in Mexico, where he has built a solid reputation. Centeno has participated in several reality shows and became one of the most memorable contestants on Telemundo’s culinary competition Top Chef VIP. Throughout his journey on La Isla: Desafío Extremo, he showcased remarkable endurance, determination, and strength in every stage of the competition.
Martín Salvador, a Dominican personal trainer and real estate entrepreneur, began the competition on Team Tiburones and finishedin second place, receiving $40,000. His performance stood out for his leadership, charisma, and both physical and mental strength, qualities that ultimately led him to the grand finale of the reality show. Raised in Miami, Salvador has built a successful career in fitness and real estate, known for his discipline and competitive mindset.
Jason Romo, a member of Team Águilas and winner of the $25,000 third-place prize, is a young Mexican actor recognized for his roles in El Señor de los Cielos and El Conde: Amor y Honor. On La Isla: Desafío Extremo, he demonstrated his energy, discipline, and impressive endurance throughout the competition, earning a reputation as one of the most dedicated participants on the show.
Estefanía Ahumada, a member of Team Panteras, finished in fourth place, taking home $15,000. She is a Spanish actress and TV host who stood out for her strength, discipline, and competitive spirit. With solid experience in athletic competitions, Ahumada faced every challenge with determination, becoming one of the most admired contestants on La Isla.
La Isla: Desafío Extremo was an adrenaline-filled adventure packed with drama and strategy, where 18 contestants tested their endurance in the wild, remote landscapes of the Caribbean. Hosted by Héctor Suárez Gomís, the participants were divided into three teams, Águilas (Eagles), Tiburones (Sharks) and Panteras (Panthers), and competed week after week to survive in conditions ranging from the total luxury of Playa Alta to the extreme hardship of Playa Baja. Only the strongest made it to the final phase, where each challenge was individual, and only one could emerge victoriously.
