MIAMI, FL – October 6, 2025 — The most famous kitchen on Spanish-language television, Top Chef VIP, reached its grand finale tonight as Cristina Porta was crowned the winner of the fourth season, closing out an exciting four-hour broadcast on Telemundo. After weeks of intense culinary competition, Porta claimed the title of Top Chef VIP and the $200,000 cash prize, winning over the discerning palates of judges Chef Antonio “Toño” de Livier, Chef Tita, and Chef Betty Vázquez. Top Chef VIP will return in 2026 for an exciting new season.
Hosted by Carmen Villalobos, the finale featured appearances by all of this season’s participants, including a special musical performance by Elvis Crespo, who debuted his new single Me Mataron together with El Blachy. Lorena Herrera, Paco Pizaña and Salvador Zerboni were named finalists of this season’s competition.
Cristina Porta is a well-known journalist and TV personality born in Lérida, Catalonia, Spain, with extensive experience in major Spanish media outlets. She rose to fame through her participation in reality shows such as the fourth season of Telemundo’s La Casa de los Famosos, among other competitions in her home country. Porta stood out in Top Chef VIP for her direct style and technical mastery, reaching the finale with an outstanding culinary proposal. In the final, she presented a menu inspired by the concept of motherhood, which she described as the most powerful force in the world, dedicating it to mothers and women who aspire to become mothers. Her dishes displayed great creativity with a distinct Spanish flair, incorporating numerous culinary techniques and fusing flavors from Asia and Mexico. Throughout the season, she showed that discipline and passion were key to her growth. Although she did not start out with extensive culinary knowledge, her tenacity and effort led her to research and practice until she achieved perfection with unique and deeply personal creations.
Over nine weeks of competition, Top Chef VIP brought together 20 celebrities eager to showcase their kitchen skills. The season was filled with intense emotions, unique flavors, and challenges that tested each participant’s creativity and talent. This season’s participants were: Sergio Sendel, Lorena Herrera, Juan Soler, Cristina Porta, Jerry Bazúa, Valeria Cuevas, Sergio Goyri, Nicole Curiel, Curvy Zelma, Elvis Crespo, Héctor Sandarti, Salvador Zerboni, Paco Pizaña, Matías Ochoa, Christopher Vélez, Angélica Celaya, Yany Prado, Norkys Batista, Celinee Santos, and Karina “La Voz” Moreno.
