Telemundo’s Reality Competition, La Isla: Desafío Extremo, Welcomes Eight New Contenders Ready To Face The Challenge Of A Lifetime Starting Tuesday, October 7 At 7pm/6c

MIAMI – September 18, 2025 – Telemundo’s La Isla: Desafío Extremo returns with even more adrenaline, drama, and strategy, introducing eight new contenders who are sure to raise the heat in one of the most anticipated reality shows this season. From popular TV personalities and elite athletes to an indigenous activist and content creator from the Ecuadorian Amazon and multiple entrepreneurs, this diverse group of energized contestants will face the most extreme challenges for a chance to win $200,000 in a game where alliances can shift in a heartbeat, and the strongest ally could become the fiercest rival.

Meet the new faces joining this unprecedented adventure:

  • Estefanía Ahumada – A 34-year-old Spanish actress and TV host living in Mexico. With experience in competitions like Exatlón Estados Unidos, Estefanía arrives with a sharp-witted strategy and the strength to conquer every challenge.
  • Fernanda Flores – Former 90 Day Fiancé cast member from Celaya, Guanajuato, Mexico. Passionate about cooking and driven by a story of resilience, this 27-year-old woman brings a strong heart and proud Mexican spirit to the competition.
  • Martín Salvador – A 32-year-old Dominican personal trainer and entrepreneur raised in Miami. His bold and authentic personality is set to ignite the competition with intensity and charisma.
  • Moi Guiquita – A 28-year-old indigenous activist and content creator from the Ecuadorian Amazon. With ancestral wisdom and a clear mission, Moi aims to spotlight the beauty and struggles of his people while taking on the Island’s challenges.
  • Nievelis González – A 27-year-old reality TV star and model born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Known for her strength, charm, and competitive spirit, she returns as “the reality girl” ready to leave her mark throughout the competition.
  • Paulina Araujo – A 24-year-old athlete and national fencing champion from San Diego, California. Her discipline and competitive drive know no borders, proving that youth can dominate the game.
  • Roberto Alejandro – A 36-year-old dancer and model from Monterrey, Mexico, currently based in Las Vegas, Nevada. His stage presence, charisma, and passion for performance make him a magnetic force in the competition.
  • Rodrigo Mata – A 22-year-old Mexican entrepreneur and paramedic with life experience in both Minnesota and Mexico. Intelligent, disciplined, and service-driven, Rodrigo represents a new generation of fearless leaders.

This group joins the previously announced competitors, Elizabeth Gutiérrez, Christian de la Campa, Helen Ochoa, Gary Centeno and Ximena Herrera, with five more personalities yet to be revealed to complete the 18 contestants of the new season of La Isla: Desafío Extremo.

Hosted by Héctor Suárez Gomís, the season kicks off with six celebrities who, for the first time, will face challenges unlike anything they have experienced before. Joining them are six reality TV stars and six contestants from diverse nationalities and backgrounds, each bringing compelling stories and fierce determination.

Each week, contenders will face intense physical and mental survival challenges in wild and remote locations across the Caribbean, from pristine beaches to dense tropical forests and scorching deserts. They will compete for accommodations that range from luxurious comfort to extremely harsh and limited conditions. In this high-stakes game of alliances, strategy, and endurance, only one person will overcome every obstacle and claim the $200,000 cash prize.
