These New Personalities Are Ready to Face the Most Intense Challenge of their Lives, Leaving Everything Behind to Overcome Grueling Physical and Mental Survival Tests to Win $200,000
MIAMI – September 9, 2025 – Telemundo’s La Isla: Desafío Extremo returns with its most exhilarating and intense new season ever, premiering Tuesday, October 7 at 7pm/6c. In this unprecedented adventure, 18 contenders will leave everything behind to take on the ultimate survival challenge, completely disconnected from the outside world and battling an unpredictable tropical climate.
Hosted by Héctor Suárez Gomís, the season kicks off with six celebrities who, for the first time, will face challenges unlike anything they have experienced before. Joining them are six reality TV stars and six contestants from diverse nationalities and backgrounds, each bringing compelling stories and fierce determination.
Each week, contenders will face intense physical and mental survival challenges in wild and remote locations across the Caribbean, from pristine beaches to dense tropical forests and scorching deserts. They will compete for accommodations that range from luxurious comfort to extremely harsh and limited conditions. In this high-stakes game of alliances, strategy, and endurance, only one person will overcome every obstacle and claim the $200,000 cash prize.
