Regional Mexican Band Musza Takes Home $100,000 And A Record Deal With Hybe Latin America During Last Night’s Grand Finale Of Telemundo’s Pase A La Fama

MIAMI – August 25, 2025 – In a star-studded grand finale celebrating the best of Mexican regional music, Telemundo’s Pase a la Fama concluded with an exciting final gala in which Musza was announced as the first-ever winning band of the groundbreaking musical reality competition. During the closing episode, the band delivered an outstanding performance of “¡Qué Inocente!”, an original track written and produced by multi-Grammy Award winner Edgar Barrera, known for his work with Latin superstars Bad Bunny, Karol G, Grupo Frontera, and more. As part of their grand prize, Musza received $100,000 and a recording contract with HYBE Latin America, marking the beginning of an exciting new musical career.

After 12 weeks of unforgettable concerts and eliminations that captivated audiences, Musza emerged as the standout group chosen by the judges. Throughout the season, band members Cynthia Ochoa, Rodo Blackmore, Oscar Campos, Gerardo Rodríguez, Yordi Blanco, and Ramiro Zuñiga showcased unmatched talent, stage presence, and a distinctive musical style that led them to victory. Destino and Jugada Maestra were the finalist bands in the music competition.

Pase a la Fama featured an all-star lineup of global Mexican music icons, including Gabito Ballesteros, JOP (Fuerza Regida), Silvestre Dangond, Sergio Lizárraga (Banda MS), Calibre 50, Yahritza y Su Esencia, and Lupillo Rivera as guest judges and mentors. The main judging panel included Ana Bárbara, Adriel Favela, and Horacio Palencia. Contestants participated in an intensive artist development boot camp, delivering weekly live performances, tackling creative challenges, and premiering original songs from top-tier songwriters.
