Miami, FL – August 11, 2025 – Telemundo announced today, live on air, that Andrea Meza has officially joined the network’s afternoon program, La Mesa Caliente, as its newest co-host. Starting today, the former co-host of the network’s morning show Hoy Día will bring her signature poise, passion, and fresh perspective to the popular entertainment show, alongside celebrated co-hosts Giselle Blondet, Myrka Dellanos, and Verónica Bastos.
“Andrea embodies everything La Mesa Caliente represents—strength, intelligence, and authenticity,” said Ricdamis Garcia, SVP, Entertainment & Specials at Telemundo. “From her first moments on television, we’ve seen her grow and flourish as an on-air personality who will now join this exceptional group of women, adding her own voice and charisma to deepen the connection with our audience.”
Meza, who recently made her primetime debut as a team captain on Miss Universe® Latina, El Reality, joined Telemundo as an entertainment correspondent after concluding her reign as the 69th Miss Universe in 2021. She quickly earned audience acclaim for her work on Hoy Día and En Casa con Telemundo, where she captivated viewers through compelling storytelling and thoughtful commentary. Now, she brings that same fearless voice to La Mesa Caliente—a show known for its bold conversations, sense of sisterhood, and unfiltered honesty. Her arrival marks an exciting new chapter as the show continues to reflect the evolving voices of today’s Hispanic generation.
“It’s truly an honor to join La Mesa Caliente,” said Meza. “This show has always stood out as a space where women speak their minds, challenge ideas, and empower one another. I’m excited to bring my own energy and perspective to the table—and to share it with Myrka, Giselle, and Verónica, amazing women I admire and already share plenty of laughs with, both on and off the set.”
La Mesa Caliente is celebrated for its fearless, real-time take on current events, culture, entertainment, and personal stories that deeply resonate with Hispanic audiences across the country. With Meza’s addition, the show reaffirms its commitment to dynamic, authentic representation that reflects the values and experiences of today’s Hispanic viewers.
