The Planet’s Fiercest Arenas Ready to Welcome 20 Contenders on a Quest to Win the Coveted Title and the $200,000 Cash Prize for One Man and One Woman
MIAMI – November 24, 2025 –Telemundo’s Exatlón Estados Unidos unveils twelve new challengers joining its tenth edition premiering Tuesday, December 2 at 7pm/6c. With their arrival, the planet’s fiercest arenas will now host 20 contenders divided into the Red and Blue teams, each ready to give their all to claim the coveted title and a $200,000 cash prize awarded to one man and one woman at the end of the competition. This historic season promises intense thrills and unprecedented challenges in the longest-running Spanish-language TV sports competition, hosted by Frederik Oldenburg.
The newly confirmed competitors are:
- Yulisa Acevedo is a Mexican soccer player born in Chilpancingo, Guerrero. She debuted in the Liga MX Femenil with Club Puebla in 2018 and currently shines in the Kings League Mexico, where she was named “Most Valuable Player.” She is recognized for her speed, discipline, and passion for soccer.
- Lorenzo Figueroa, born in Miami, Florida, is the eldest son of music star Chayanne. A sports enthusiast, especially basketball, he played at the college level before founding his clothing brand. This Exatlón Estados Unidos fan seeks to step out of his comfort zone and prove his strength and determination on the most demanding arenas.
- Johanna Gómez “La Flaca”, from Medellín, Colombia, is a multifaceted athlete with experience in volleyball, track and field, and soccer. Founder of a sports brand, this leader—disciplined and passionate—aims to push her limits and prove that no challenge is impossible.
- Alejandra Maldonado, born in Culiacán, Sinaloa, Mexico, is a former gymnast and high-performance track and field athlete, specializing in the heptathlon and long jump. She set collegiate and U-23 records and was a finalist at world and Pan American championships. Her discipline and competitive spirit make her one of the most complete athletes of the season.
- Óscar Muñoz, from Ariguaní, Magdalena, Colombia, is the first Colombian Olympic Taekwondo medalist, taking home the bronze in London 2012. A model of effort and perseverance, he has competed in the Pan American, World, and Rio 2016 Games, inspiring new generations of athletes.
- Matías Ochoa, is an Argentine model, singer, and influencer, known for his fitness lifestyle and charisma. He participated in the last season of Top Chef VIP, where he stood out in the culinary competition. With millions of followers and a rising career, he now faces the greatest physical challenge of his life on Exatlón Estados Unidos.
- Dan Pastrana “El Halcón” is a former professional baseball player from Puerto Rico who represented his country in international tournaments and was named “Rookie of the Year” in 2017. Known for his strength and leadership in sports competitions on the island, he now combines his competitive spirit with his artistic side, ready to soar on Exatlón Estados Unidos.
- Kelly Ríos “La Guajira”, is a Colombian lawyer, athlete, and influencer from Dibulla, La Guajira. A finalist and champion in multiple athletic competitions, she is known for her strength, discipline, and competitive character. Recognized as “Best Athlete Influencer of the Year” (Instafest Awards 2023), her story of perseverance and Guajira pride inspires thousands through fitness and healthy living.
- María Antonieta Rodríguez, from Zulia, Venezuela, is a professional swimmer and crossfit athlete who is passionate about outdoor sports. She combines her work as a nutrition advisor and hotel manager for rescued animals. Her physical and mental strength — shaped by both nature and training — prepare her to conquer this reality sports competition.
- Edrei Salas, a Mexican basketball player from Querétaro, was part of the state team for over six years and twice named MVP of the CONADEIP (2016–2017). She has played in several professional leagues and was selected for the 2024 All-Star Game. Her passion and perseverance now drive her toward her greatest challenge yet on Exatlón Estados Unidos.
- José Juan “Gallito” Vázquez, a Mexican soccer player born in Celaya, Guanajuato, is a midfielder with an outstanding career who shined with Club León and Chivas and represented Mexico in the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. Champion of Liga MX, Copa MX, and Supercopa MX, he embodies the determination of an athlete ready to take on new challenges.
- Frank “Franz” Weber is a professional Mexican climber, three-time national elite champion, and World Cup Boulder competitor. A lover of extreme sports, his technique, strength, and precision make him one of the most prominent figures in Mexican sport climbing.
These twelve new contestants join the previously announced Exatlón Estados Unidos icons, including Anisa Guajardo, Denisse Novoa, Emmanuel Jáquez, Fernando Lozada, Kelvin Rentería, Polo Monárrez, Viviana Michel, and Wilmarie Negrón, completing a powerful lineup of competitors.
Exatlón Estados Unidos has brought together more than 200 competitors since its inception and has awarded over $6 million dollars in prizes and rewards. With this historic tenth season, the reality competition continues to set the standard for athletic competition and storytelling, blending physical endurance with human emotion in a way that resonates with audiences across the nation.
