MIAMI – November 20, 2025 – Fatima Boschwas crowned as the new Miss Universe® tonight at the conclusion of Telemundo’s live coast-to-coast broadcast from the Impact Challenger Hall in Bangkok, Thailand. Representing Mexico, Boschwas crowned by Miss Universe® 2024, Victoria Kjær Theilvig of Denmark, in an extravagant and exciting event in which 120 women from around the world took the stage.
The international event featured special performances by top musical artists and the historic participation of the first-ever Miss Universe® Latina, Yamilex Hernández, who became the first U.S. Latina to earn a place in the pageant after winning Telemundo’s reality series Miss Universe® Latina, El Reality.
Telemundo’s live broadcast of the 74th Miss Universe® was hosted by Jacqueline Bracamontes, Danilo Carrera, Carlos Adyan and Jessica Carrillo, with Julia Gama serving as backstage reporter. Additionally, Telemundo’s Andrea Meza, co-host of La Mesa Caliente and the Miss Universe® 2020 titleholder, was part of the election Committee alongside other distinguished personalities. As a prelude to the main event, the network presented Celebrando Nuestras Reinas, a one-hour special that showcased this year’s contestants from Latin America, Spain, and the first Miss Universe® Latina.
As the official Spanish-language broadcaster of the Miss Universe® competition in the U.S., Telemundo will air the 75th Anniversary edition of Miss Universe®, taking place in November 2026 at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
