This 74th Edition Kicks Off with Celebrando Nuestras Reinas, a One-Hour Special Honoring Latina Contestants and the First-Ever Miss Universe® Latina
Preliminary and National Costume Competitions to Livestream on the Telemundo App, the @Telemundoentretenimiento YouTube and Telemundo Al Día FAST Channels, on Wednesday, November 19
MIAMI – November 13, 2025 – Telemundo is ready for the world’s most prestigious beauty pageant, Miss Universe®, exclusively for U.S. viewers with the live coast-to-coast broadcast, in Spanish, from the Impact Challenger Hall in Bangkok, Thailand, on Thursday, November 20 at 7pm ET/6CT/4PT. As a prelude to this 74th edition, the network presents a special programming lineup and extensive coverage to celebrate all the glamour and culture of the highly anticipated event. The competition features 120 women representing countries from around the world, including 20 contestants from Latin America and Spain, and the first-ever Miss Universe® Latina, who makes history by participating in this prestigious event.
As the exclusive U.S. broadcast network of Miss Universe®, viewers will be able to enjoy the following Spanish-language programming lineup:
- Starting Monday, November 17, Telemundo’s daytime shows, Hoy Día (8am/7c), En Casa con Telemundo (1pm/12c), La Mesa Caliente (3pm/2c)and Al Rojo Vivo (4pm/3c) will offer exclusive coverage from Thailand, bringing viewers all the details, preparations and the most exciting moments of the event, with additional coverage on Acceso Total in the local markets.
- On Wednesday, November 19, audiences can enjoy the Miss Universe® Preliminary Competition and National Costume Show via livestream on the Telemundo APP and the @TelemundoEntretenimiento YouTube channel, and on demand on the Telemundo Al Día FAST channel. Contestants will shine in their national costumes, swimwear, and evening gowns, competing for a spot in the final gala where the new Miss Universe® will be crowned.
- On Thursday, November 20, the 74th Miss Universe® edition kicks off with Celebrando Nuestras Reinas at 7pm ET/6CT/4PT. Hosted by Carlos Adyan, Jessica Carrillo, and Julia Gama, this one-hour network special will spotlight the personalities, dreams, and life missions of this year’s contestants from Latin America, Spain, and the first Miss Universe® Latina, who will make history as the first U.S. Latina to earn a place in the competition after winning Telemundo’s reality series Miss Universe® Latina, El Reality.
- At 8pm ET/7CT/5PT, the highly anticipated live coast-to-coast broadcast of the 74th Miss Universe® edition begins. Hosted by Jacqueline Bracamontes, Danilo Carrera, Carlos Adyan, and Jessica Carrillo, this year’s pageant introduces 120 women from around the world competing for the coveted crown in a dazzling show full of music and excitement. Julia Gama will serve as the backstage reporter, bringing viewers all the behind-the-scenes action, while Victoria Kjær Theilvig prepares to crown her successor at the end of the gala. This year, Telemundo’s Andrea Meza, co-host of La Mesa Caliente who was crowned Miss Universe® 2020, will serve as a member of the Selection Committee, alongside other distinguished personalities.

- In addition to the live broadcast on Telemundo, the pageant will stream simultaneously on Peacock and the Telemundo App, available on the Google Play Store and Apple Store.
- Non-Spanish-speaking viewers in the U.S. will also be able to enjoy Telemundo’s live broadcast with English subtitles available via Closed Captioning.
- For the Spanish-speaking audience in Latin America, the pageant will be broadcast live through the Telemundo Internacional cable channel.
