The Finale of the Hit Cooking Reality Competition Drove Telemundo to #1 Spanish-Language Network in Primetime Across All Demos
Most-Watched Finale in Franchise History with 1.8 Million Total Viewers and 536,000 Adults 18-49
MIAMI – October 9, 2025 – Last Monday’s four-hour finale of Telemundo’s Top Chef VIP ranked as the #1 show in primetime, regardless of language (excluding sports), among adults 18-49, according to Nielsen. The final episode, which crowned Cristina Porta as champion, positioned Telemundo as the #1 Spanish-language network in primetime, delivering 536,000 adults 18–49 and 1.8 million total viewers and outperforming Univision by +77% and +56%, respectively. Set to return in 2026, Top Chef VIP Season 4 also delivered the highest-rated finale in franchise history across both demographics.
Throughout its full run, Top Chef VIP season 4 averaged 313,000 Adults 18-49 and 1.2 million total viewers, ranking as the #1 Spanish-language television show in its timeslot among total viewers.
According to Talkwalker Social Content Ratings, the Top Chef VIP finale achieved the highest total interactions among all reality series across television and ranked as the #1 Spanish-language reality show on Instagram, Facebook, X, and YouTube. The finale generated 297,000 total interactions and 2.5 million video views, a +63% increase in video views when compared to the prior season.
Top Chef VIP brought together 20 celebrities eager to showcase their culinary talents. The season was packed with intense emotions, bold flavors, and challenges that pushed each participant’s creativity and skill to the limit. This fourth edition featured a distinguished panel of Latin American chefs, including Antonio “Toño” de Livier, Chef Tita, and Chef Betty Vázquez. The celebrity contestants included: Sergio Sendel, Lorena Herrera, Juan Soler, Cristina Porta, Jerry Bazúa, Valeria Cuevas, Sergio Goyri, Nicole Curiel, Curvy Zelma, Elvis Crespo, Héctor Sandarti, Salvador Zerboni, Paco Pizaña, Matías Ochoa, Christopher Vélez, Angélica Celaya, Yany Prado, Norkys Batista, Celinee Santos, and Karina “La Voz” Moreno.
