MIAMI – Wednesday, October 8, 2025 – Telemundo announced the U.S. premiere of Lejos de Ti (Far Away), the international phenomenon that has captivated millions of viewers worldwide, starting Monday, October 20 at 10pm/9c.
The Turkish series, starring Sinem Ünsal (as Alya Albora), Ozan Akbaba (as Cihan Albora), Kuzey Gezer (as Deniz Cihan Albora), and Gonca Cilasun (as Sadakat Albora), brings audiences an emotional, suspense-filled drama that blends family, tradition, and survival into an unforgettable television event.
Lejos de Ti tells the story of Alya, a doctor living in Canada, whose life is turned upside down after the sudden death of her husband. When she returns with her young son to his hometown of Mardin, Turkey, for what she expects to be a brief farewell, she is thrust into a world ruled by powerful traditions, buried secrets, and ruthless family rivalries. Soon, Alya learns that her son is considered the rightful heir to the Albora family — a clan respected and feared for its influence and its long history of blood feuds. Determined to keep him bound to their name at any cost, the Alboras draw her into a dangerous struggle for control, forcing Alya to fight for her independence and her son’s future.
