Telemundo Presents Exclusive Coverage of U.S. Women’s National Team Friendlies Against China PR and Jamaica

MIAMI, Fla. – May 28, 2025 – Telemundo, the Spanish-language home of the U.S. National Teams, presents complete coverage of two U.S. Women’s National Team friendlies over the next two weeks. The USWNT will take on China PR at Allianz Field in St. Paul, Minn. on Saturday, May 31, LIVE at 5 p.m. ET on Universo and Peacock, and will challenge Jamaica at Energizer Park in St. Louis on Tuesday, June 3, LIVE at 7:30 p.m. ET on Universo and Peacock. 

These matches will be the first time the U.S. faces China PR since late 2023. China PR is currently preparing for the 2026 AFC Women’s Asian Cup, which will double as the qualification tournament for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Brazil. The U.S., meanwhile, is looking ahead to Concacaf qualifying for the 2027 World Cup, set to take place in the fall of 2026. 

Telemundo’s coverage will feature an all-star commentary team. Carlota Vizmanos will serve as host for the broadcast, with sports commentator Jorge Calvo on play-by-play alongside professional soccer coach Natalia Astrain as analyst for the match against China. For the match against Jamaica, legendary eight-time Emmy Award-winning sports commentator Andrés Cantor will handle play-by-play, also alongside Astrain as analyst. Isabella Echeverri will report from the sidelines of Allianz Field for USWNT v. China, delivering exclusive insights and interviews to keep fans connected to every moment of the action.
