Official Crown was Unveiled During an Exclusive Event in Miami Headlined by Jacqueline Bracamontes, Alicia Machado, and Zuleyka Rivera
MIAMI, May 22, 2025 – Telemundo hosted an exclusive event in Miami to unveil the majestic crown that will be awarded to the winner of Miss Universe® Latina, El Reality, the most ambitious competition on Spanish-language television, premiering live on Tuesday, June 3 at 7pm/6c. The network announced a esteemed panel of judges including renowned personalities Aracely Arámbula,David Salomón, andFabián Ríos. Together with the audience’s vote, each week they will determine which contestant best meets the requirements to stay in the competition and ultimately be crowned as the first Miss Universe® Latina, earning the right to participate in the 74th edition of Miss Universe® later this year.
During the crown unveiling, host Jacqueline Bracamontes, joined by captains and Miss Universe® titleholders Alicia Machado and Zuleyka Rivera, presented the dazzling crown, a symbol of the pride, strength, and beauty of Latina women. The exclusive design features precious stones, including an emerald and a ruby representing Machado’s and Rivera’s teams, adorned with gems with symbolic and aesthetic value.
Meet the Judges:
- As one of the most recognized personalities in the world of Spanish-language entertainment, Aracely Arámbula returns to Telemundo in a new role as a judge on Miss Universe® Latina, El Reality. The renowned actress, singer, and businesswoman began her path to fame at a young age as a model and beauty pageant queen in her native Mexico. Arámbula has starred in numerous telenovelas, including Telemundo’s original productions La Patrona and La Doña, in addition to her role as host of the first season of MasterChef Latino. The Mexican star has also ventured into music, releasing several musical productions, and participated in successful theater plays.
- After appearing in the third season of Telemundo’s cooking competition Top Chef VIP, David Salomón returns to the network as a judge on Miss Universe® Latina, El Reality, recognized for his outstanding work as a fashion designer. Salomón began his career by presenting his collections at major fashion shows and events in Mexico and abroad. He has worked with numerous celebrities and public figures, establishing himself as one of the most influential Latin American fashion designers. His style is characterized by elegance, the use of high-quality materials, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Internationally renowned actor Fabián Ríos joins Miss Universe® Latina, El Reality as one of the three judges. Ríos has starred in major Telemundo productions including Sin Senos Sí Hay Paraíso, Tierra de Reyes, and Corazón Valiente. In 2024, he participated in Telemundo’s hit reality competition Los 50, where he stood out as a contestant. Throughout his career, he has been featured in numerous publications and has been the recipient of several entertainment industry awards.
Miss Universe® Latina, El Reality is an innovative multiplatform format that will bring together a group of talented and charismatic Latinas from across the United States in an exciting reality competition. Week after week, viewers will witness the drama and behind-the-scenes interactions, as the participants undergo empowering coaching and training sessions led by Miss Universe® 1996, Alicia Machado, and Miss Universe® 2006, Zuleyka Rivera, as captains of Team Emerald and Team Ruby, respectively. Both will develop the candidates with valuable advice based on their own experiences in Miss Universe®, while the judges will determine each week, with the help of public voting, who best meets the requirements to stay in the competition until the first Miss Universe® Latina is crowned.
Miss Universe® Latina, El Reality will air live on Telemundo Monday to Friday and Sundays at 7pm/6c. It will also be available on the Telemundo app and stream the next day on Peacock. In addition to Telemundo’s live broadcast in the United States, Miss Universe® Latina: El Reality will also air simultaneously on Telemundo Internacional for viewers across Spanish-speaking Latin America.
