USWNT Faces Iceland Twice This Week Live on Universo and Peacock

MIAMI, Fla. – October 21, 2024 – Telemundo, the Spanish-language home of the U.S. National Teams, brings two exciting U.S. Women’s National Team friendlies against Iceland this week. The first match kicks off in Austin, TX, on Thursday, October 24, at 7:30 p.m. ET, followed by the second game in Nashville, TN, on Sunday, October 27, at 5:30 p.m. ET, both airing on Universo and streaming on Peacock

The USWNT roster includes 18 gold medalists alongside six uncapped players, three of whom are making their debut. 

Sunday’s match will feature a special farewell ceremony for two-time World Cup champion Kelly O’Hara, with a tribute from fans and players during halftime of the USWNT vs. Iceland matchup. Additionally, forward Mallory Swanson will be honored for reaching 100 caps. 

Hosting the coverage will be Carlota Vizmanos, along with Telemundo’s award-winning commentary team, including play-by-play announcer Copan Alvarez, former soccer player and analyst Manuel Sol, and professional soccer coach and analyst Natalia Astrain.
