MIAMI, Fla. – July 17, 2024 – Telemundo presents the 2024-25 Premier League season kickoff as the exclusive Spanish-language home of the best soccer league in the world offering audiences vast coverage of the highly anticipated season. Season opens Friday, Aug. 16, as Manchester United host Fulham at 3 p.m. ET on Universo with the pregame show starting at 2:30 p.m. Premier League matches will be available exclusively in Spanish across Telemundo, Universo, Peacock and the Telemundo App all season long.
Highlighting opening weekend coverage (full match schedule below) is defending champions Manchester City opening their campaign at Chelsea – in their first PL match under new head coach Enzo Maresca – on Sunday, Aug. 18 at 11:30 a.m. ET on Telemundo. Last season, City became the first club in English top-flight history to win four straight titles. On Saturday, Aug. 17, Liverpool, in their first PL match under new head coach Arne Slot, take on newly promoted Ipswich Town, who return to the Premier League for the first time since 2001-02, at 7:30 a.m. ET on Universo.
Premier League coverage will be featured across Telemundo, Universo and Peacock led by host Carlota Vizmanos including the network’s signature pre- and post- shows, La Liga Premier: Extra and 3er Tiempo. Telemundo Deportes’ coverage will continue to closely follow the league’s Hispanic players and managers, focusing on their performance, state and stories through packages, reports and interviews.
Peacock continues its expansive coverage of the Premier League this season with exclusive English-language and Spanish-language matches.
