USWNT Faces Mexico and Costa Rica Ahead of Paris 2024 Live on Telemundo, Universo and Peacock

MIAMI, Fla. – July 9, 2024 – Telemundo, the Spanish-language home of the U.S. National Teams, debuts the U.S. Olympic Women’s Soccer Team selected by head coach Emma Hayes for matches against Mexico and Costa Rica in preparation for the team’s performances in the 2024 Olympic Games and FIFA 26. 

USWNT will face Mexico on Saturday, July 13 at 3:30 p.m. ET on Telemundo, Universo and Peacock in Harrison, N.J for the “Impact 99” legacy match. Impact legacy matches will take place annually and will focus on important games in U.S. Soccer history that positively impacted future generations of National Team players from the senior U.S. National Teams, the U.S. Youth National Teams and the U.S. Extended National Teams. Olympic in-venue announce team featuring eight-time Emmy Award-winner and Hall of Famer Andres Cantor, Olympic soccer player and analyst Manuel Sol, and professional soccer coach and analyst Natalia Astrain will be on call. 

Then, the USWNT heads to the nation’s capital to play an Olympic send-off match against Costa Rica on Tuesday, July 16 at 7:30 p.m. ET on Universo and Peacock. Once the final whistle blows, the USA will have nine days until its Olympic opener against Zambia in Nice. Copan Alvarez will provide play-by-play with analysis by Sol and Astrain

Carlota Vizmanos will host both matches, joined by the announce team a post-game show following the match against Costa Rica. Together, they will offer in-depth analysis of the Olympic squad’s performance and present the main storylines leading up to the matches.
