Network Delivers 1.14 Million Total Viewers and 332,000 Adults 18-49 in the 7pm-11pm Timeslot, Excluding Sports, for the Quarter To Date
Miami, FL, June 26, 2024 – As the second quarter comes to a close, Telemundo is on track to be the most watched Spanish-language network in weekday primetime, excluding sports, among both total viewers and adults 18-49. To date, the network has delivered a total of 1.14 million total viewers and 332,000 adults 18-49 for the Monday-Friday 7pm-11pm timeslot, excluding sports, in the second quarter, according to Nielsen, outperforming Univision by +10% in both demos.
In addition, Telemundo is the most-watched Spanish-language entertainment network, excluding sports, on Sunday nights in the second quarter, averaging 1 million total viewers and 267,000 adults 18-49, beating Univision by +38% and +47%, respectively.
For the quarter, La Casa de los Famosos Season 4 ranks as the #1 weekday primetime entertainment program in Spanish-language television, averaging 1.4 million total viewers and 400,000 adults 18-49. Meanwhile, Top Chef VIP Season 3 has amassed over 300 million total engagements across television, digital and social platforms in its first four weeks since premiering. Currently wrapping up its ninth season, El Señor de los Cielos has averaged 357,000 adults 18-49 at 10pm, maintaining its position as the #1 Spanish-language television show in its timeslot for seven consecutive seasons among adults 18-49.
Telemundo’s Monday-Friday primetime is pacing to grow +28% among total viewers and +8% among adults 18-49 as compared to second quarter of 2023, while Univision has declined over the same period.
