MIAMI – June 21, 2024 – Noticias Telemundo announced its multiplatform coverage of the first presidential debate on Thursday, June 27 between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump. 

Julio Vaqueiro will lead coverage across the streaming channel Noticias Telemundo Ahora and the Telemundo network which will include a Spanish-language broadcast of the First Presidential Debate Hosted by CNN. Senior Washington Correspondent Cristina Londoño and National Correspondent Lourdes Hurtado will report live from Atlanta, site of the debate which is scheduled to start at 9 PM ET. 

Coverage will begin on Noticias Telemundo Ahora at 8 PM ET with a pre-debate special featuring reporting and analysis about the state of the presidential race and the potential impact of the Latino vote among other issues. The streaming channel is available on Peacock and Noticias Telemundo’s social and digital platforms including NoticiasTelemundo.comthe Noticias Telemundo appYouTubeFacebookXInstagram and TikTok.  

Following the debate broadcast on the Telemundo network and Noticias Telemundo Ahora, Vaqueiro will pick up streaming coverage with a team of on-air political analysts, on-the-ground reporting from Noticias Telemundo correspondents and live reaction from a group of undecided Latino voters in Los Angeles.  

NoticiasTelemundo.com will feature comprehensive debate coverage and analysis including a live blog with minute-to-minute updates. T Verifica, Noticias Telemundo’s fact-checking platform, will provide fact checks on-air during pre- and post-debate coverage and also on NoticiasTelemundo.com.
