Telemundo Presents The Best FIFA Football Awards 2023 on Monday, Jan. 15 on Universo

MIAMI, Fla. – Jan. 12, 2024 – As the exclusive Spanish-language home of the FIFA World Cup through 2026, Telemundo will present coverage of The Best FIFA Football Awards 2023 on Monday, Jan. 15 at 4:30 p.m. ET on Universo honoring the most outstanding participants in the planet’s biggest sport including players, coaches and fans. 

Hosted in London, The Best FIFA Football Awards for women are based on performances from August 1, 2022, through the Women’s World Cup Final on August 20, 2023. For the men’s awards the qualifying period is between December 19, 2022 and August 20, 2023.  

The nine awards being presented include The Best FIFA Men’s Player, The Best FIFA Men’s Goalkeeper, The Best FIFA Men’s Coach, The Best FIFA Women’s Player, The Best FIFA Women’s Goalkeeper, The Best FIFA Women’s Coach, FIFA Puskas Award (Goal of the Year), FIFA Fan Award, and FIFA Fair Play Award.
